This cake was done for my good friend, Georgette, who recently had a photography show of her amazing photos of mannequins called "Behind Glass".

I learned a good lesson about structure doing this cake. I had a dowel in it but it started leaning after I'd been working on it for awhile. Next time I really need to have a proper base and a secured dowel to hold something like this up. This was a pretty heavy cake, about 15 lbs. It would've been better to use ganache than buttercream under the fondant too as it holds up better.
I also had a hard time with the fondant because of the odd shape of it, hence the 'skirt' around the bottom. I know what I did wrong though and it wont happen again.

the cake tasted great though and Georgette was very happy with it.

This is all cake. No rice krispie treats. It consists of almond, coconut, pink lemonade and chocolate cake (thinly sliced layers) with chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream. Yes, the flavour combo tasted awesome. The reason for the pink lemonade cake was because Georgie loves pink...it's her signature colour and I really felt the need to represent. The vanilla buttercream was also tinted pink in her honour.
