I made this snow globe cake for my office Christmas party. I made another cake the previous year featuring the same penguins and wanted to incorporate them again since it had been such a hit. Unfortunately for me, a vendor of ours sent a strawberry shortcake cake from a popular local bakery, and mine went untouched though it took hours to make and was lovingly handmade. :/ Just goes to show you, lol.

I made this for my office Christmas party. I borrowed very heavily from several beautiful penguin cakes here on CC. Thanks, guys, for the inspiration! These penguins were my first-ever figures, and I had a blast with them and can't wait to do more. The cake itself is white with mint-chocolate oreo filling. I didn't want to do anything too out-there in terms of flavor, as we have a lot of picky people at my office (myself included).
