This is an alternate view of my bible cake. This, again, was carved and not done with a book pan. All of my cakes now are done free hand.

This is a tree I carved for a Christmas party. I wanted to hide the lights inside but I ran out of time. It still got the comments I was looking for. Enjoy The angel on top was a mini wonder mold and doll pick. Her wings are hand made RI.

I got the idea for this from CC. I don't remember the name, but my customer loved the design. The cake is Tres Leches, or three milk, covered and trimmed with stabilized whipped cream icing. The holly leaves, berries and poinsettias were fondant.

These cakes were done for my wife's church dinner. They are devil's food :) with buttercream icing. For the bible I scanned two pages and printed them on edible icing then hand carved a 12x15 sheet cake. For the nativity I downloaded a pic of the nativity from the internet. The edges of the pages were scored and painted with thinned gold shimmer dust. The ribbon is red buttercream.
