This is my happy place, a winter cottage on a hill where my children can play. It's hard to see in the pic, but the house is lit up internally.

This was my first attempt at a wired flower. Was much more difficult than I expected, but the final results were ok. Gumpaste holly leaves and pointsettia, and fondant berries on a spiced chiffon cake with white chocolate eggnogg mousse filling.

This is a buttercream and yellow cake, with alternating layers of cookie dough filling. The head is wilton sports ball and the body is 3 round layers. Truthfully, this is a cake that almost wasn't! It was my caketastrophy! The snowflakes were a last minute attempt to hide the dowel....which was used as a frantic effort to keep the head from rolling away!
