Gerbera Daisy cake

This is my first wedding cake, made for my brother's wedding.  I would not have been able to complete this without the generous help of Jennifer Dontz. Not only did she guide me with the design, she helped me order supplies and answered many questions. I think I watched her video about 20 times during the decorating. No one in the house was allowed near the tv that morning!

The cakes are covered in chocolate fondant. The pearls and heart border are chocolate clay.  Daisies are gumpaste, my first time working with it. (I need a LOT more practice!) I originally made the daisies with large centers, then decided they needed smaller ones, so made a new batch. While setting up the cake I realized I needed more flowers, so ended up having to use both. Well, at least Gerberas come with different sized centers.
