SPS - Single Plate System. Do a search - you'll find a ton of info on it. Look for a post by Leahs

This was a perfect example of poor trasportation I guess mixed with a need for the SPS which I now use exclusively!!! I had to travel 45 mins with this cake and 1/2 way into my trip I smelled buttercream more intensly as usual!! I think it happened when I had to go around a loop type exit to get onto the highway. I had 2 hours TOTAL to get back home and fix it and then get back to the party. Needless to say I was 30 mins late for the party but I returned with it unstacked and assembled on site. The before cake is in my pictures this is the disaster but I didn't take an after b/c I just wanted to be done with it!! But the end result looked pretty much like the original. No one would have ever known, thank god!!!
