Skate Board Cake

This cake was 31inx8in. I started with a 11x15 torted it then cut the pieces in half and used that for the cake. We wanted the thiner more realistic look. It is iced in buttercream. The design was painted using airbrush colors and everything but...

This cake was 31inx8in.  I started with a 11x15 torted it then cut the pieces in half and used that for the cake.  We wanted the thiner more realistic look.  It is iced in buttercream.  The design was painted using airbrush colors and everything but the name was freehanded.  The trucks are plastic and wooden dowels covered in gumpaste.  And the wheels were molded from gumpaste.
