A little 7" cake for a baby shower with a chevron and bird theme. The fondant topper was modeled on a pair of antique children's boots that will be in the new baby's bedroom.

I used the chevron tutorial from Jessicakes blog, but forgot to add an...

A cake for a vintage toy baby shower. 8" and 6". The truck cab is made from rice crispy treats and then built up with fondant. Everything else is fondant. Loved making this cake.

A shower cake to welcome baby Aaden. The giraffes are copied from the shower invitation and the bamboo name plaque was copied with permission from the outstanding Sugarbelle Cakes.

The quilting on the bottom tier was made with the patchwork...

An 8" Tiffany box with a rattle based on a real vintage Tiffany version. The board is covered in glittery scrapbooking paper that sparkled teal and pink - such a shame it doesn't show in the photo. The board is trimmed with 'bling on a roll' to match...

My first sheet decorated to match the baby shower tableware.

The monkeys are cut from modeling chocolate.

The letter cutters were purchased from ebay - search for 'alphabet cookie cutters'. I have a tutorial for this bow on my Facebook page.

A hibiscus cake with bamboo border. I used my new Cricut cake to cut out the hibiscus and the leaves using gumpaste. The fondant colour is Fondarific Hot Pink with extra Wilton Rose added for a deeper colour. The turtle topper is fondant-covered RKT...

This cake is based on a photo from the customer, but I know very similar versions have been done before, so thank you to the originator! The baby's head is fondant-covered styrofoam and the lid of the box is cake. I used my new Wilton button silicone...

A jungle-themed cake based on the baby shower invitation. Apart from the wording, the lovely customer gave me a completely free reign. The baby is being born into a family with two grown up boys, so I gave the monkeys baseball caps with the boys'...

Your cakes are so original. How on earth did you do the box?
ccwilson 11/2/12 at 7:30am
I am sorry I have not logged in for quite some time. Which box are you referring too?
carmonscakes 11/2/12 at 7:31am
Thank You :-) I am not sure what you mean by the box though.
SweetTreatsxXx 11/3/12 at 5:04am
Im not sure why I have comments that don`t refer to my cakes.... I think there is a problem with this site??? Anyone know what that could be???
FondantDreams 11/4/12 at 5:05am
I'm also wondering what all of these comments on my page are? This site is so confusing now.
EmiliaLeslie 11/4/12 at 12:14pm
I am thinking this is because we uploaded our pictures to a community album and not a personal one. :/
smplycreative2 11/4/12 at 3:46pm
lol i have comments on my page that don't pertain to my cakes
FondantDreams 11/4/12 at 4:38pm
Is anybody else finding this new layout extremely confusing? I am hating it, definitely not easier.
Toster 11/4/12 at 6:47pm
Yes, it is very confusing now. I don't like it at all!
millermom 11/5/12 at 8:31am
I'm so glad it's not just me! I'm on my page right now, looking at my baby shower cakes, but there are 9 comments here that are definitely not me.
althomas 11/5/12 at 3:40pm
I'm not sure I like this either...I'm looking at pics of my cakes and wondering where all these comments came from. Not from my cakes! LOL.
Rosie2 11/5/12 at 4:41pm

lming 11/6/12 at 1:31pm

beth78148 11/11/12 at 6:11pm
Yea, I found all of these comments on my cake page too and was like oh that's nice until I realized it wasn't for me??…. This is a little confusing!! ><
sugarflour2 11/14/12 at 5:41pm
Yes, this new set-up is too weird. I know I should have read the manual before attempting to navigate through the new CC, but I guess old habits are hard to break and I didn't have to do that when I signed up for the original CC, everything was pretty self-explanatory. I don't have much time to be on the computer so spending the little time I have taking a class to learn how to make my way though is not fun, lol, not at all.
BlueCactus 11/15/12 at 9:56pm
ahhhh, i'm looking at my baby shower cakes and a whole bunch of confused comments.... i think they are having some monumental teething issues with the new design. Me thinks someone will be working through the evenings to resolve these numerous issues.
