Cake made for my 18 year-old nephew's birthday.  This was my first attempt at those candy mold things....the pins were candy as were the balls/pins at the corners.  The cake was covered in fondant.  The balls and ball holder thing is fondant too. ...

I do the cake for the Hall of Fame induction banquet every year for our county, this is this years. Five 1/4 sheet cakes stacked for two layer, all WASC with Butterceam Dream frosting.

Two layer 13"x9" yellow cake with buttercream frosting. Thanks to the inspiration on Cake Central =) 
Freehand drew the bowling pins and bowling ball w/a toothpick then outlined and star piped to fill them in.

For a 21st bday, celebrating the young mans university (West Texas A&M), his sport (bowling), and his fraternity (Sigma Nu). Hard to make burgundy bc AND fondant - they have to match! Gold is painted on Super Gold luster dust.

Birthday cake for 15 year old who loves to bowl.  I was also asked to try
to incorporate a cell phone (blue cake in upper right corner). White cake
with colored vanilly frosting. pins, balls and gutters all fondant.

Thank you to jamiet for her great cake design.  I thought this cake design was super cute from the first time I saw it, and was glad to finally have a reason to do it.  The cake is done in buttercream with fondant accents.

This was done for a girls bowling party.  Marbled pink fondant to resemble a bowling ball with fondant cut outs of pins and balls.

Our family being avid bowlers- I wasn't surprised to get a request from my oldest for a bowling cake. I made him his own bowling lane out of two 9x13 cakes. The wood lane is "planks" of graham cracker sticks. It's complete with twizzler...

Chocolate and vanilla cake covered with fondant.  I need to find an easier way to cover the bowling pin.  I was thinking of a poured fondant.  My brother owns a bowling pro shop and he displayed it in his shop on his birthday.

For my daughter's birthday at the bowling alley (she picked the colors). WASC bowling ball using sports ball pan. 8 inch butter chocolate chip cake on bottom. All covered in buttercream. Pins are FBCT.
