This was a cake collaboration with my friend 'oldred55' for her granddaughters 7th birthday. It was my first attempt at making a person from fondant, I was quite pleased with how it turned out. Gumballs line the base of the cake. TFL!

Chocolate cake with double chocolate fudge filling covered in vanilla buttercream. Bowling pins are sugar cookies with royal icing. Bowling bowl is RCT covered in fondant. Buttercream is just not my thing! ;)

this was made with 8x8 pans cut in half and stacked.  it was covered in chocolate fondant.  the lane is fondant that was painted to look like wood.  ball and pins are also fondant.  this was for my son's b-day and he had me position the ball and pins...

8" chocolate cake iced in buttercream.  It was for an 80 year old man who loved to bowl.  Fondant man, pins, diamonds, ball and lane.  It was much cuter in person...doesn't show in the picture.
