My dad is diabetic, so I didn't want to make him an actual cake for his b-day, so I made him cupcakes instead :-) I kept it really simple, but it's also sentimental for us. Stories behind the "floppy orange hat and one oar, for instance. LOL He liked it :-) Key Lime cupcakes with lime cream cheese frosting, fondant fisherman and fish and fondant covered cake board. I made this for a boy at my hubby's work. He looooooves hunting! :) This didn't turn out exactly as I had envisioned. I had a bugger of a time getting the antlers to stay on his head! So they're not in the position I wanted them to be :-p First time camo cake for me. Thanks for all the inspiration and tips CC members! (especially KHalstead :-) ) I'd like to do another one, and do it better. This was fun! WASC w/ strawberry filling, BC camo and fondant deer and bushes.
