Full size tennis racquest was a little taller than a "real" racquest so that we could get more servings. Fondant is covering everything. Used an extruder for the strings.

I tried to create a cake what looks exactly the same as our birthday present ... a tennis jersey. My uncle really loved it!

This was for a girl who plays tennis and loves pink. 2 11x15's put together, yellow/chocolate bc icing mmf fondant racket. The racket was a last minute thought so it was pretty soft. I really need to think ahead next time.

Did not have much time to do a relly cool tennis theme. Rackets on sides are traced on wax paper and transfered to cake. On the bottom border i did small tennis balls all the way around.

My first attempt at sugar cookies and icing. I know I need a lot of practice but these were just for fun. I didn't make the icing thin enough but I will keep working on it :)

White cake/white BC icing sheetcake from Costco (cake is 3/4" higher on one side than the other, NOT MY FAULT! lol), sportball choc. cake for tennis ball iced in BC, textured with empty tip 233. Stars are MMF. CMS is freehand copy of team t-shirt logo, tip 5, and patted flat. School colors are navy, royal blue, and white. Used "tennis yellow" to accent.

This was a real pain! I think that I am really not cut out for these 3-D cakes. The tennis balls were made with the mini ball pan and put on top of an 11x15 sheet. The customer described exactly how she wanted this cake including the message and plastic tennis stuff! I did get a call today that they really loved it though!
