This cake was done for a guy who likes golfing, dipping & baseball. The cake is buttercream with fondant accents.

This is all buttercream. Free-hand drawing. It was done for my daughters boyfriend who loves disc golf

Well, I just discovered buttercream transfers! And it works! I made the houndstooth with the transfer. All the rest of the cake is buttercream.
<br>This website cut me off during my comment below and wouldnt let me finish. It kept telling me to wait a few mins and I can add another comment.. well that was and hour ago.. so here is the finish of kweenofenglands question...
**The only thing is, it wasn't enough, so I slid the pattern down and did some more.. then I put it in the freezer. About 30 mins later, I took it out and spread some white icing over all of it. Then put it in the freezer overnight. When I decorated the cake, I iced the cake white and then took the buttercream transfer out of the freezer and layed it on my cake and peeled the wax paper off and "viola"

The dogs were made from rolled fondant.. the starting box is a cake covered in rolled fondant.. the rest of the cake is buttercream. The scoreboard is just a picture I found on the internet and printed out.
