Super nice client calls and requests a multi-sports themed cake and kept repeating that she just really wanted to get him something special - this was a "special birthday" she repeated a few times. She ordered a 10" round. When I asked how old (I assumed a milestone b-day since she kept repeating special) she says 57. Oh, ok. Then I find out that the birthday honoree has colon cancer and that this will probably be his last. I couldnt just make a 10" round! Thanks to all the similar cakes posted on this site that I used for reference.

This is a 14 inch round single layer surrounded by cupcakes. Entire cake is buttercream stars.
