I use the recipe found here: http://obsessedwithbaking.blogspot.com/2009/02/flour-frosting.html  The only difference between this one and others that I've seen is that the sugar is cooked with the roux instead of creamed in with the sugar.   My brother-in-law just isn't exactly what you would call a "foodie".  =)
