Thanks everyone! I can't wait to try it! Omg what was I thinking. I was confusing jello and koolaid. I meant koolaid lol. Ugh in tired!!! Lol
Honestly I didn't even think about the grit. I was thinking about the gelatin forming a weird texture and make it impossible to pipe or spread. I may have to test it out.
I haven't had a lot of experience but I'm curious if u could add some koolaid to buttercream to color and flavor the buttercream. I've seen it done with royal icing. Would it change the texture?
What about marshmallow fondant? Or hand piping it?
Im making my nieces birthday cake. I dyed the main buttercream green and it turned out great! I'm using pink buttercream to decorate and after adding pink food coloring it seperated and I don't know how to fix it. I used wilton neon pink...
Go to YouTube! It's so hard to explain and it will show you how to do it. After u see it you will be kicking yourself for not realizing. Lol
