Chocolate cake with coconut buttercream.  I fill mine with chocolate ganache or a coconut filling to make a "Mounds" cupcake.  Not really that commplicated and OHHHH so yummy.  Oreo (cookies and cream) is another good...

I also use the 2 x 1 3/4 tall cupcake liners.  They fit just fine in my "standard" pans.  They make a nice size cupcake and they are not extremely expensive.  You can definitely tell the size difference when comparing...

I've been using these larger liners also (purchased from same source) and I just love them as well.

BRILLIANT!!  Thanks so much for this idea.  I dabble in cupcakes and give to friends to help me "taste" and critique the recipes.  I'm always scrambling for something inexpensive to use as a carrier without having to...
