I had that problem with my BC and found out that it was because I was adding the pwd. sugar too quickly. Try adding it 1/2 c. at a time, making sure it's mixed in before adding the next 1/2 c. until it's all gone. It did the trick for me.HTH,Kimm
I am a newbie as well. Nice cakes! I would suggest photographing your cakes with a solid background. I'm not expert, but am laying a white tablecloth with a piece of white foam core board behind it. That way, my kitchen, decor, plug-ins, view out the window, etc... does not detract from the cake.FWIW,Kimm
