HI there. I have only used candy melts. I don't know about choc chips but you might try the candy melts again and make sure and not get them too hot. I still mine well after 30 sec intervals of heating to help in the melting process...

HI,  Where I live everyone loves this mandarin orange cake. But the way we make it isn't orange or really taste like orange. This is the recipe I use. 1 box of yellow cake mix I use pillsbury. 3 eggs little less than 3/4...

Better yet .... I won't put the lid on at all . Just the box lid that the cake is in. 
ok ok ok  lol   now back to the question  Can I use it and just NOT put the lid on tight? I will tape it in place if I have to so it doens't fall back into a snug position

I did that once and don't think I accounted for needing maybe a little extra water. I just realized I've also been using JET puffed marshmellow. I've heard to use the cheap brand. I don't know what the difference is but will try that...
I just watched Liz Mareks tutorial. Thanks for sharing. And I will look into Jennifers videos. Here is a pic of my cake I did in all fondant. No sharp edges here will keep working at it .  Wendy
