I understand how you feel but we all have days like this.  Next time place all the decorations after delivering the cake.  The cake is really cute!

You can use a simple syrup (made out of sugar and water) and flavorit  with vanilla, or any other flavor. 

I don't like either.  I want it back in the way it was before!!!!!!!
