OMG.... this sounds so much like me, that it made me laugh reading your post! I've gotten much better but I still have my days where nothing goes right! I buy lots of DVD's, plus I'm a member of yummyarts.Hang in there!
Sharon Zambito's Flawless Fondant and her Buttercream DVD's are amazing! I know you said 'basic', but her 'boxes and bows' is also a must. Edna De La Cruz has DVD's for gumpaste flowers which are awesome! She is a great teacher!!!
