Ok, thank you!...was wondering how I would get a stiffer BC daisy...with some petals up and some down...and the flower not look FLAT on the cake....I want it to have some contour and depth to it....and not look wilted on there. 
Corn Starch makes the BC stiff??? Do I add it into the recipe for my flowers? or sprink it on it...sorry I know dumb question. 
Needing help...never have done a Daisy flower in BC. what I need to know is this....I've seen videos how they are done...if I make it and place it in something to give it shape, like an egg crate foam piece ....and put in the freezer for a bit.....   Will it hold its shape once I place it on the cake? How do I get the BC Daisy to keep the shape I want it too??? I live in Texas, and it's hot and humid, the cake is for inside...but I have to get it there also.  and can I...

I think it looks awesome, I mean mine would be like HORRIBLE!!!....and you know its good when the little girl loves it!! and that is what counts....Awesome Job!!!
What about Broken glass candy you can make?....something along these lines...you can create it anyway you need too ...and place it right. just type in broken frozen glass cakes to find cakes....I bought candy rocks for my cake I was going to insert it into the cake at angles...and instead put them on each side of the cake in cups....to show the...
Not sure how detailed you can get ...but I typed in Wing cakes and got a few pics...also did: Feather cakes....and maybe a plaque that says the songs Title....   type in search: butterflies, wings, feathers, angels...with cake at the end and see what you can come up...

What is it that you need to know? I made one, my very first when I was still new at cakes....   I baked 4- 6" cakes....and ice and stacked them...til the height I wanted...then I took a prirex bowl and and put some batter in there and baked that, I took that out and I just that "Dome" as the top of the beer foam...I placed that over the cakes I had stacked and I iced in the colors I needed, then air brushed on the yellow part...for the handle I did a fondant one, but...
Hi all, I'm thinking of playing with Modeling choc. Since Fondant and I seem to fight and have for years...I have no patience for it...so I decided now that I've kind of can work with Candy melts...I'd like more criper cakes...and thinking of trying Modeling choc.   I came across this last night and I'm seeing alot of post on how to work with this texture, so I decided to post it here in one place instead of trying to post in every single one. Hope this helps others...
