I found and bought the pan with a coupon. Have not use it because they recommend using a cooking spray with flour to spray the top and bottom of the pans and I don't have any. I will post again once I try it.
Thank you for the information Wente002. I'm going to check my local store this weekend. If you subscribe to their e-mail newsletter, they send you coupons for 20% off or $5 off.
You can order them from beanilla . com They are having a sale on madagascar beans 25 ct. for $25, shipping to where I live is about $4 plus change. The more you buy, the cheaper they are. If you vacuum pack them they will last for years. You can also buy them from a ma z on. HTH
I made a new box BC yellow mix a while ago with no problem. The new package requires less water (I used half water and half nectar), same amount of eggs and a little more oil (I used applesauce).
Thanks for the link but when I tried it, it didn't work for me. I searched online and found that is www.karenscookies.net
Personally, I don't think you should accept a check after the final due date stated on your contract. It should only be cash and/or paypal. I would send her a final e-mail telling her that since you did not receive her payment and is now 3 days until the event, that you will not be providing her with the cupcakes and cancelled her order. Why would anyone so irresponsible consider marriage is beyond me.
I have a coupon for 50% off any regular priced bakeware item starting today 8/18 until Saturday 8/20.http://www.michaels.com/Secret-Insider-Deals/secret-insider-deals-US,default,pg.html
I own this machine. Are you using the recipes from the booklet? I have used the vanilla, chocolate and apple cider recipes and they came out ok, not burnt and/or black. The only problem is when you don't align the top and bottom perfectly, then you get some pops that are crooked.Maybe the machine is defective and gets too hot. Can you return it and get another one? Also try posting on the babycakes reviews thread. http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopic-714521-210.html

On the Cake Mix Doctor's website, I saw she makes and sells her own yellow and chocolate box cake mixes. Anyone ever tried them?
