hi! thanks for ur reply.actually, yes my cost is coming upto approx. Rs. 6,500. this person called me saying he works in a bank & they have these parties every now & then. I was thinking of 3 tiered rectangular cake. i dont have a big oven to make 1 big cake. if they like the cake they would give me more orders in future. So if the cost itself is Rs. 6,500 then how much should i charge?TIA

thnks for ur replies.Actually I got this recipe from the net. I have not yet tried it. Thought will try it 1st before I confirm the order. Here it is:Whisk 3 1/2 cups cake flour, 1/2 cup cocoa & 1/2tsp salt. Place 2 cups butter & 2 1/4 cups sugar in a bowl. Beat till well blended. Beat in 4 Large eggs, 1 at a time. Add in 1 1/2 tsp vanilla xtract. Add flour mixture alternating with 1 1/4cups buttermilk in 2 batches. Combine. Place 2tsps baking soda with 2 1/2tsps vinegar....
Hi! Please, can anyone help me? I live in India. I have been asked to bake a 8kg Ferrero Rocher cake. How much should I charge for that? Usually I charge Rs. 350 for a simple 1/2 kg (approx 1 pound) cake with buttercream. Is that alot? And if a simple cake with buttercream would be Rs. 350 then Ferrero Rocher cake would actually be expensive, right? So how much should I charge for a 8 kg (approx. 16 pounds) Ferrero Rocher Cake with Nuttella Ganache topped with Ferrero...

Hi! I wanted a white chocolate frosting that is like whipped cream and that does not melt in warm conditions. Here not many people like buttercream nor whipped cream. So I wanted to try something that would taste like chocolate and resembles whipped cream. Please help!Thank you.
Actually no, it wasn't for a filling, but can be used. Its chocolate. Though if I were to use it as a filing I think I would make small cake balls with the chocolate filling or small cupcakes & use the chocolate as filling. I used it as a frosting for a 9" round cake. Layered at the centre & top. If made alittle thick then I think can pipe also, though I just spread it over. I didn't refrigerate it, just left it out, covered. Thailand being so hot, it did not melt, infact...
