Okay.... looks like I might need to freshen up my trig and calc skills!
Yeah! So my Aggie math skills were correct!
Wow! Do you think there will be a lot of vendors on the upcoming Cake Cruise? I'd love to be able to come away with some cool new products, and of course the freebies and giveaways aren't bad either!
I would maybe just multiply your serving count for a particular size pan by 1.5. Wouldn't that be the easiest way? I'm not a math whiz, but it would seem to be accurate.
The hands-on classes range in price from $45 to $65 each. You have a choice of 4 sessions, with two hands-on classes to choose from per session. Each day begins with a one & a half hour presentation which is included with your $20 Cake Cruise registration. Even if you didn't do the classes, I think there is still going to be some valuable info to take home with you.If you log onto CakeCruise.com, go to the PRESENTATIONS tab and the classes are described with the $ for...
I think that would be a very classy combination. I had a 40th anniversary cake (Ruby Anniversary) this summer and they wanted white on white with a huge rd bow on top.I almost went crazy trying to get that red fondant to 'tone down' and become a beautiful rich garnet color. If I am making a 2" or wider ribbon, I only use the top tray otherwise they will get crushed. I prefer the more...
I know exactly what you mean... after last weekend's BRAIN cake for a 7 year old boy, I have decided that the event date is no longer the most important question to me, but rather, "IS IT FOR A BOY?", and "WHAT IS THE PARTY THEME?????" LOL Between snakes and dragons and Baku-whatever, I am so done with the boy cakes! Sport themes are one thing, but Pokemon and Star Wars have been retired in my baking kitchen! Even my son has run out of ideas when it comes to getting...
John - You rock!Just spoke with my mom and she is so excited too! So much for mother-daughter bonding... she invited one of the hunters to go with us! Is it wrong for an almost 40 year old woman to travel with her parents solo?My family are very seasoned cruisers and I just cannot fathom enjoying a moonlight stroll on the promenade deck with my PARENTS!!! LOL Seriously, my husband and I enjoy long nights at the casino and having cocktails during the shows... it just...
