I made this exact cake a few weeks back. I used sugar glue (water & fondant) to stick them on. Let the cake dry for alittle it and it will be fine.

I used to use Satin Ice and hated how it created the ‘elephant skin’ appearance. I worked very quickly and it never came out perfect. Now I use FondX and it’s wonderful. I would love to use Massa but it’s too pricey for me. (Massa is $62...
