Hello!

I have been trying to make edible isomalt beads using Marinas moulds but I cant seem to get enough isomalt into each cavity evenly. Some beads are full sized while others in the same mould are not. I poured the isomalt at the recommended temp of between 146 and 154 degrees celcius but I still cant get a good fill.

Does anyone have any hints and tips please?

Many thanks in advance

I think that you have to overfill those a little and clip off the extra piece. Or just use the isomalt at a higher temperature so that it's more liquid.

I made some one-piece silicone bead molds using strings of beads, so they're not the same as the two-sided ones, but when the isomalt cools off too much it's hard to pour into the small cavities.

Asometimes I pipe it into the mold using double parchment (not wilton's) and of course a good hot mitt
