ADoes anyone know how to make this cake. Please help. I have a bride that ordered this cake. I haven't make anything like this before. Help!
ACan you post a picture? You took an order for a cake you don't know how to make? I would be a very worried bride.

AThanks everyone, the links really help. Will be doing the blue one with Styrofoam wedges seperators. Additional tips will be appreciated. Cheers
I don't know if I"m too late, but I use a skid free mat underneath the cakes.....the cakes won't fall off at all. I never had any problems with Bronwen's Caddy Wampus. You can also use tape and Bronwen shows you that in her tutorial on YouTube. You just have to be organized and think things through before you start. For example, cutting holes in your cakeboard and not forgetting to cut a bit of cake from underneath so the cake can go on to the structure smoothly. I also make a long list before I start anything. Also, I don't put the cake together until I get to the venue.
You should NEVER take an order for something that complicated that you have never done before! That is a disaster waiting to happen.
My advice is that if you have several weeks to plan that you use the tutorial klan suggested and practice , practice, practice- not only the construction but the transporting.

Especially this technique..its even in the title "Tilting / Falling Wedding Cake". This isn't a cheap cake to make..nor an easy one; I really hope it works out for you, but you probably shouldn't have taken on something like this if you've never done it before.
Definitely do a practice run, you'll want the peace of mind of being able to know how it will turn out.
