AHi all! Newbie here and I was wondering can you still apply fondant decorations to a fondant covered cake after they have dried?

AI'm not sure what sort of decorations you are using, but a lot of my fondant decorations have to dry so that they'll hold their shape (e.g. bows). It's no problem to put them on a cake. If it's a cut out of some sort, I usually put it on before the fondant dries.

AYes I'm using cut outs..I wanted to save some time and make them in advance then apply them in a couple of days with water or piping gel.

AWet the backs with water just a little and place where you want them. Just remember that once you put them on, they are glued in place. Colors will run if too wet.

Also, if you want them to fit the curve of the cake, then you need to dry them on a matching curve or else the edges will stick out.
