| Someone was asking for a roll out cookie recipe for peanutbutter cookies and I remembered making these years ago, so I dug through my recipe box to find it. If I remember corectly they were pretty good. | |

| 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup peanutbutter 1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup shortening 1 egg 1 1/4 cup flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 3/4 teaspoon baking soda Peanutbutter Frosting 3 cups powdered sugar 1/4 cup peanutbutter 1/4 to 1/3 cup milk Mix until spreading consistency. | |

| cream together sugars, peanutbutter, butter and shortening. Stir in the egg. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients. Mix well. cover and refrigerate at least one hour. Heat oven to 375. Roll dough out 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured surface. Cut with small cookie cutters. Bake 6-8 min. cool can be sandwhiched together with peauntbutter frosting.
