Cake for my cousins engagement/congratulations on the new job party. Inspired by the Ron Ben Israel cake on the cover of the ICES newsletter a few months ago that I fell in love with! Airbrushed buttercream with fondant ribbons, bows and accents. Wafer paper flower type bows also. Used cricut for rings and music notes- first and last time- took FOREVER to get them usable!
Cake for Twins first bday. Fondant covered, fondant accents. Butterflies are gumpaste on wire, painted with edible glitter, fondant daisies. Fondant animals, rice krispie trunks on palm trees, covered with fondant and fondant palm leaves.
An untiered fall wedding cake... the leaves are fondant and then dusted, fondant acorns, satin ribbon and american buttercream.

An 80th birthday cake... Favorite color is purple and all shades, so did ribbons and bow in all different shades of purple! Flowers dusted and then added a bit of pearl dust and sugar pearl centers. TFL!

Request for princess cake- the little girl's favorite was cinderella, but liked all the princesses so went with blue. Gumpaste tiara painted with pearl dust, fondant bow, ribbon and flowers. Diamond impression mat on bottom tier, sugar pearls, ruffle border topped with tiny bead border both from buttercream.
Birthday cake for FIL... Harley tank to match one he had 40 yrs ago. Body shop back then got paint job wrong- they reversed it, and so for his bday we gave him the right paint job! Carved cake, fondant covered and hand painted to match picture. TFL!

Buttercream was beastly last night- got to love humid summer nights! Overall happy though- don't love how border on top tier turned out, but no big deal! TFL!

Nothing too exciting.. asked to make this for a graduation- person provided photo from Taste of Home website and I did that plus a little "Cakery" inspiration.
