Boy, am I glad this is finally over!! I've been a nervous wreck all week!!
This was my cake clubs donation to the Katrina evacuees. The cakes and icing were donated by club members. I made the fillings, iced, and decorated the cakes and cake table. The groom's cake was made by another club member....it was a sheet cake w/a football and the saints logo. The stand was also donated by a club member.
The bride was very pleased w/the cake. There are edible pearls on the side of the cake.
My first offical wedding cake!!! I haven't slept or ate anything all week!! Now I'm off to bed...maybe I'll get a good nights sleep.
The pic in my gallery. Please take a look and let me know what you think. I had some problems getting the icing smooth and on one of the cakes the icing started to slide off.....but I hide that part in the back!!!
