Is it Tres de leche? I thought it was Mexican, but I found it on cuban website. Here's the link

I think it's Latin in general. It's a very wet cake, Diane. Ask them if the cake they are describing is wet. That will help you.

And here I was thinking it was Puerto Rican!!!
One thing I can tell you is that is DELICIOUS!!! The cake itself is dryer than normal, but it's meant to be that way to hold the liquids...
It's the best.

All my cakes are priced differently. That's OK. You don't have to charge the same for a specialty cake as a standard basic cake. Don't feel guilty.

Think of it this way: Special cake equals special pricing.

This cake it's not cuban, not mexican, not puertorican. This is a Nicaraguan dessert and they let it know, you can read it.
Raúl Musibay: This is one of the most delicious cakes ever invented. It's really a Nicaraguan dessert...
Jorge Castillo: ...but it is served in just about every Cuban restaurant in Miami.

Glenn Lindgren: It is a very rich and very filling cake. It gets its name from the "three milks" sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream, which are soaked into the cake, making it the most moist and delicious cake you've ever had.

Jorge Castillo: The cake is like one big giant sponge soaking up the delicious milk syrup. You can actually eat this one with a spoon!
