What's the best pan size to use to make the pregnant belly cake? How do you get that nice round belly look? Thanks!
Hi,
How about half a ball pan, see here,

Hope this helps!
You can use a 10" pan and crave it round and put a lot of frosting in the center to make a dome shape. The wilton sports pan can be use for the breast. I hope this helps.
The Wilton 1/2 ball pan for the belly and the Wilton mini wonder mold pans for the boobs gives you the best proportion...
I think it also depends on how many servings you need. For the one I did, I baked it in a 9" pyrex dish, and layered it with another 9" cake beneath it to give it some height. In hindsight I would have done another 9" base so I could have carved the belly to make it a little more round. I used two half ball pans (wilton) for the boobs. I think it came out really good and it definitely had enough servings for the event .

There are lots of really cute belly cakes on CC so I hope you get inspired by them all. Good luck! This is a really fun cake to make

I forgot to mention that I put it on a 1/2 sheet. And I also didn't actually use these pans when I did mine. My cake turned out awful !The boobs were too big and it was pretty pornographic (I used 2- 1/2 wilton balls and a 1/2 soccer ball). I had to do a fixing minimizing job. That was why I suggested these pans. It was for the CEO of our company at the time- good thing she had a good sense of humor and said the cake looked how she felt!
