Folding Utility Cart For Deliveries?
Decorating By tarheelgirl Updated 25 Jul 2011 , 11:31am by tarheelgirl
I'm trying to find a folding or even a non folding cart that would be used for cake deliveries. Something sturdy and can hold a ton of weight! 4 tier fully assembled wedding cakes are back breakers!!
Any suggestions?
Funny... mine mentioned it today! Poor guy his arms were like jello when we left our delivery!
I found this one on handtrucksuperstore.com

Or this one:

I'm leaning more towards the 1st one but moving a large cake from your van and then bending over to place it on the cart.. Its really low to the ground. The 2nd one you wouldn't have to bend down and materials can be placed on the bottom. This one doesn't fold up though.
there is this one from the container store, a little pricey.

I used to work at a bakery where they had a really nice one that folded down but it's a bit pricey:

I'm currently using a flatbed one with a handle that pulls up that was in the garden section at Lowes (or maybe it was Home Depot) for about $70.
Thanks guys! I ordered the 2nd one.. Doesn't fold but I can slide it right in the back of my van and go. It was under $100 with free shipping. Can't beat that! I think my DH will be really happy on our next delivery! ![]()
