help i think i just posted this on the wrong site.. i think it was in the busines site..oops.

I need help with the gel bubbles. I have watched the tutorial but am still lost.

when they say equal parts of knox and water .. what is that? Also how many bubbles can I expect to get out of one batch of the gel & water? I am doing a 12/8 or a 10/7. I think I am going to need about 16-20 bubbles. but then again I am guessing.

also can the luster dust or food color be omitted? I would like the bubbles to be as clear as possible and if they aren't clear then as shinny as possible.

Any help or suggestions and help will be most appreciated. Think that the hardest part is blowing up the little baloons!(lol).

Equal parts of knox and water means for every tablespoon of unflavored gelatin you put in, you put in one tablespoon of water. I have no idea how many bubbles you can get from a recipe, but it's so easy and inexpensive to make up that you might as well do a lot of it at once. If you have leftovers, you can always store that gelatin in a plastic container with a lid and use it later - it remelts very easily. And if you run out, it's easy to make some more. I would do a test bubble before I did a whole bunch of them to see what happens if you don't use coloring or luster dust. I think one of the problems with transparent bubbles is that the hole that's left after you remove the balloon will be easy to spot, but I could be wrong. Best of luck and let us know how this goes - I'm going to be making some of these soon. I think you're right about blowing up the balloons being the hardest part!
