Hi all!
I'm in the process of creating/registering my business as an LLC. I will be renting commercial kitchen space, so here's my question. Will my business address (for mail, etc.) be my home address or the rented kitchen address? I assume it would be the home address, but I need to be sure. Can someone who is currently renting kitchen space help me out here?
Many thanks in advance!

It is probably a better idea to use your home address for your LLC if you rent space especially because then if you move to another rental space, there won't be any issues. I have my own shop (that I rent) but I use my home address for the LLC, I do all my paperwork at home and that is where the insurance paperwork etc gets sent. Also when my lease is up and I decide to move to another location, it will be much easier.

We also rent a commercial kitchen, but the address of record for our LLC is our home address.

I have a PO Box for both my corporation and my LLC. I like to keep the business address completely separate from my home address.

Thank you all so much!!! I'm working on filing my LLC paperwork online right now. I'm sure I'll have more questions as this process progresses!

Make sure that you let your insurance company know about the extra location that you're using, since they'll need to add it to your policy. I use my home address for my LLC, but I have the office that I use for consultations on my insurance policy as well.
