Good grief. I wouldn't have ever thought of this super-simple, cheap, disposable/recyclable way to delivery a bunch of cupcakes in a million years. This is a BRILLIANT idea! Kudos to the lady that posted the pics.

All she does is turn a cupcake pan over, mold a piece of aluminum foil to the bottom of the pan, then put the aluminum "mold" in a box and set the cupcakes for delivery in the aluminum foil. They don't squish together, fall over, move around, get ruined. I love this idea.

You're welcome everyone. For Christmas, you could also buy the fancier, imprinted aluminum foil in the grocery stores and use that to "class it up".

Very clever. I use mini marshmallows - they work great. I line the box with them and then set the cupcakes in between. But the tin foil thing is cheaper!

She even used the "foil tray" for baking. Impressive.

Thanks everyone. I got the idea from somewhere else, but don't remember for the life of me where or who the idea came from. I'm sewsweet2 on the cake boards. Abby is my uncle who passed away. I started the site to post pictures for his estate auction for my counsins. That was several years ago. I redid the site for tutorials for my caking and sweet friends. My customers don't have to know how easy some cake techniques are. LOL

No problem. Just wanted everyone to know I didn't think this up on my own.
