Suggestions For Commercial Oven In Home Based Business
Business By KittisKakes Updated 14 Sep 2010 , 1:15am by msauer
In about a month, we start construction to add a new additon to the house. This additon will be my kitchen for the cake business. It's time to expand and get the business out of the home! What brand and style of oven do you suggest. I am looking into a free standing, electric, convection oven. I defiitely want the capacity to be larger than a standard home oven, but no more than twice that size. And I do not want it to be hardwired.
TIA
My mother in law has a duke single convection oven http://www.superprod.com/category/cooking-beverage/convection-ovens.do not brand new but was a couple years ago and she loves it. Comes in electric and gas. She always complained about how her cakes baked in her standard home oven. She even does the thanksgiving turkey in this because of the extra room it has and makes getting everything out easy, no bending.
I have a Deluxe Oven CR2-4 model. I love it plus I am moving into a retail space and because I am only baking cakes and cupcakes I don't have to have it vented.
Jenn- so excited for you! I just joined your FB page so I can see updates/progress/pictures of your new space! I may be calling you some day when I'm ready to move out of my house!! Again, happy for you, but I'm so green with envy at the same time!!
