I just spotted these about a week ago at Michaels and was thinking about getting the set with a coupon. What type of event did you use them for? I was thinking about a bridal shower, perhaps.

Geechigirl,

Your pillow cake is beautiful! Did you have to use a firm cake batter, like a pound cake?

I covered mine in 2 pieces. I crumb-coated the whole cake and then covered half the cake with fondant. I then flipped the cake and covered the other side with fondant. You can go to YouTube and there is a tutorial on making a pillow cake.
