Need Help! How To Make A Gumpaste Rocking Chair

I am hoping that one of my CC friends can help me - please! Can anyone tell me how to make a gumpaste rocking chair! I tried creating a template of the rocking chair pieces, but that did not work very well. Does anyone have any ideas??
I would think that you would need to make all of the pieces individually and let them dry, then once they are dry you can assemble them.
If you go for one with simple straight pieces, like the one below, it should be relatively easy. cut the whole back, including back legs, as one piece to give it some stability. cut strips for the rocking base and dry them on the curved side of a round cake pan. I would use thickly rolled gumpaste or pastiche.
It seems simple. But maybe I'm missing something. What kind of problems are you having?
Here are some printable patterns that may be useful

They are full sized...but can be resized in publisher or other photo/image editing program (most of them can)
I've worked on a couple different kinds of chairs and have found that working from a template is best. It has to done quite well in advance as each section needs to dry. You MUST make sure everything is very even in it's measure as you will have trouble getting rockers to attach if the rungs are not measuring up. I glue together with melted chocolate as it sets much quicker than the standard glue mixture. For pieces such as the back of the rocker, you are better off cutting one solid piece then using a tool to "carve out" the back rails. If you try to make the rails individually, they snap with very little effort.
I've also found that chairs made from gingerbread dough are easier to work with than chairs made from gumpaste. It's just a matter of baking the pieces then assembling --much quicker process.

Thanks everyone. I did have a pattern - but for some reason I am not able to get it. Maybe it's me. Artscallion, the picture of the rocker you attached is exactly the sample I have been following and I have done exactly as you suggested about doing it in pieces, etc., but I am still having a hard time.
