Is it possible to use them together? Perhaps by rubbing some water onto the fondant...has anyone done this? Any suggestions...

I just put the sheets on the fondant & then use royal icing to pipe a trim around it... holds very well.

I slightly moisten the fondant with a damp (well wrung out) paper towel and stick the frosting sheet to that.

You just need to add some water to the fondant before applying the image.

I use watered down piping gel to adhere it to the fondant and pipe a royal icing border around it or a fondant border.
