What Do You Do When You're Sick?

I'm just curious. For those that are licensed home bakers that do everything yourself (meaning you have no employees, it's just you). What do you do if you are booked for a date to do a cake and you get sick with a cold or the flu? How do you handle that situation?
I'm not a licensed home baker, but recently when I offered to make a cake for somebody's event and I was sick, I sanitized my kitchen completely and wore a mask and gloves while I was working on it.
Hello, new to cake central but have been baking for years as a licensed business out of my home. It works well to build relationships with other designers you can trust in your area... just in case of emergencies.. In the past I have had kids in the hospital emergency room all night & recently my husband's brother died unexpectedly . I was able to turn to my resources and someone else filled my order for me. This requires a really good relationship and lots of trust but well worth it. If it's just a cold I wear gloves & mask as well.
same as the above, wear a mask and gloves and pray your way through it!
Usually when you get something more than a cold you can fee it coming on, if I start getting those feelings, I pop on a mask (just in case) and get as much prep work done as possible just in case I get really sick!!
Before I was licensed, I used to cancel everything and refund every dime! No way could I afford to get people sick AND be unlicensed!
Now? I just suck it up and deal with it. Gloves, mask, frequent rest breaks. Lots of drugs and water!

Dittto! I have two bakeries that will take my orders and do it for the price that I contracted. Couldn't ask for nicer people!!
My health inspector was very clear--if there is fluid coming out of either end of you (vomiting, diarrhea) stay out of the kitchen. If you have a mild cold, wear a mask & gloves and sanitize, sanitize, sanitize.
I was sick last month with what I thought may be the H1N1 because it had been going through our church. I called and cancelled a cake that day because I just didn't want to risk it.
