Hello everyone:

Here is a document I made up to describe how I do chocolate transfers for my cookies, cupcakes and cakes.

I am FAR from being an expert on these, but each time I post pictures with chocolate transfers on them, I receive several requests for more info. I thought it might help to create a more detailed document with some pictures.

It's a pdf so you should be able to right-click and download the file to print out or view.

Please also let me know if there are any errors I should correct - this is my first posting like this.... icon_redface.gif

Thanks - Pat

Same for me too! Has anyone posted pdfs before? Did I do somthing wrong?

Edited to add: I just re-uploaded the pdf but same thing happens.
I'll check on the tech forum to see if there is advice there.

Sorry icon_cry.gif

I'm sorry everyone - the whole idea behind creating the document was so I wouldn't have to email so many people. I still couldn't get the full document to open or print myself...hoping someone sees this and knows the answer.

Anyone?

Thanks so much tatorchip - I really appreciate your help....but it's only the first page. There are 5 pages in the document. Do you think thats why it won't load? It's too large?

PattyT, I printed out all of pages and while reading, my dd came over and I had to print one for her. She said to tell you thank you and you worded it so well. I think so also.

Awww..thanks tatochip! Tell her "you're welcome" and I hope it's helpful to both of you.

Have to admit, as I started to read your last post, my heart dropped - I was afraid you had discovered a huge mistake!

Let me know if you have any questions too.

no mistakes, just good clear instructions. I do have a question, if I put the chocolate transfer (not the edible sheets) on cookies, can they be bagged if bagging two large cookies, putting the backs together so the chocolate doesn't touch each other.

Yes tatorchip - I've bagged them several times. I'll tempt fate and try posting some that I've done that.

I was afraid the chocolate would smear on the plastic, but I didn't notice any problems. I guess as long as the bag isn't too tight to press hard on the transfer.

This is where making sure the back isn't too bumpy for cookies is important. If the transfer has areas sitting up above the flooded icing, it may snap at the point where it's not supported. It's stronger if the entire transfer is able to sink into the royal.

I have a question -- is there any way to enlarge the thumbnail so I can read it? I've tried downloading, didn't work then I tried clicking on it, didn't work. I'm not sure how to print it either. Does someone have it in PDF file format?
