Wouldn't it be wonderful if Global Sugar Art had review pages for the products???? Hmmmmm.....

So, I'm in need of gumpaste soon and I've usually just used the Wilton readymade from Michael's. But I'm getting a little frustrated with it. The last bag I bought the entire top half was hard. Guess I should have felt it a little better before I bought it. But I'm also not liking the bag it comes in. I like how Satin Ice's gumpaste comes in a bucket.

Has anyone here used Satin Ice gumpaste? I use their fondant and love it, but just wanted a few opinions on the gumpaste. Not that into mixing my own gumpaste either. If it's not going to be eaten, no one's ever gonna know if I made it myself or just bought it.

Yes, I have used the Satin Ice Gumpaste and loved it. You can also use Satin Ice fondant and add Tylose powder to it. That works great too.

I've also used Satin Ice gumpaste (and fondant) and I loved both. The fondant is actually pretty tasty...and I am not a big fondant fan.

I don't feel like the Satin Ice GP dries fast enough for me. I use their fondant and add tylose.
