How Do I Keep Purple Fondant From Fading?

I make my own MMF, would I be better off getting satin ice already in purple? Does SI fade too? I've always had a problem with the purple fading. Don't want to screw up my first wedding cake!!!
UV light is the enemy of purple and pink - when you're not working on it, put it in a dark spot or cover it if you can to keep it out of the light. The same is true for when you deliver it - don't let it sit in the sunlight! I learned that the hard way!
Chefmaster makes a no-fade purple coloring: http://www.bakedeco.com/a/chefmaster-liqua-gel-4416.htm
What if we have no time to order a new color..any tips??
I got to have a big fondant, purple, bow for Saturday. I made the loops last night and they're blue tonight. Blue isn't really a Halloween color
