So just yesterday I purchased a KopyKake airbrush for my birthday. I was soo soo excited to try it out.
Well today I put some color in it and pushed the little "on" button and all of the fricken color bubbled out and squirted me in the face! icon_sad.gif ...soo i thought well maybe it has dust or something in it and it needs to be cleaned. So i follow the instructions to take the airbrush apart to clean it..only to find i am missing a part..i am missing on little nozzle piece it is a small little part but i guess that is my problem.

anywho i am hoping the store will be able to get me this little part.
i know you guys will understand! icon_sad.gif

Laughing with you not at you. How dreadful and disappointing. I know when I get a new toy I want to try it out immediately.

Once you have your part you will be too excited to remember being mad and disappointed. Hang in there.

did you buy it brand new? if so take it back and get it exchanged, the whole airbrush gun, not the compressor part. If they wont do it call Kopykake and see if they will exchange the gun part. The reason i say this is becuase the nozzle is this teeny piece that the needle sticks through, and everytime i have had to replace mine, it never seems to work properly. I have now come to the conclusion that that teeny piece is a precision machined piece that should be left untouched. and since you dont have one, you need to get the airbrush replaced. a new peice which is about $18- $20 may not fit just right.

sweetcakes, yes i bought it brand new, but i did try to use it so i am not sure if the place will exchange the whole gun, so i may trying calling kopykake tomorrow. So you have found that if you got a new nozzle it wouldn't work as well? icon_sad.gif i just want it to be as good as i thought it would be icon_sad.gif

Wouldnt opening the packaging and using it be the only way to find out it was faulty? I would think they would have to replace it as you purchased a faulty product.

My 2 cents anyway - good luck and enjoy your new toy when you get going again!

I agree, you need to return it the store of purchase and ask for an exchange.

So...I called the store today and asked if I could just exchange the gun, they said they dont have any in stock but they will get the part for me..I am scared now that even if i get the part that the airbrush wont work as well icon_sad.gif ...i called kopykake and they said that if i get the replacement part it should work as good as new so my fingers are crossed and hopefully i can get the piece asap
