I have been asked to make a 3D Barnyard Birthday Cake( barn and gum paste animals) in a couple of weeks but Im having trouble as to how to make the barn does anyone mind sharing instructions or could tell were I can get instructions I appreciate any help I can get I would like to make the barn out of cake..

I just recently done one and used 2 6-inch square cakes stacked with some rkt on top for the roof. I only did the rkt because the 2 cakes stacked wasn't tall enough. you could probably do 3 or 4 stacked cakes and carve the top for the roof. hth

Wilton also puts out a 2D standup house cakepan..I have seen many Barnyard cake made with this pan.

Doug has a pic of the cake stacked up for a snoopy house. Your's would just be smaller. I did a Barnyerd funny Father's Day. Barnyard is a supper fun theme! i can't wait to see!!!

Live does a barn cookie house but mabe it can give you a good idea of how to go about making it look like a nice barn I yould make the roof base out of ricecrispy squares and cover it with fondant, it would save tome and money also you could be sure the triangular roof will hold up well. good luck yard.http://www.whimsicalbakehouse.com/decorate/decorate.html
