Hi

I wonder if anyone could point me in the direction of a step-by-step / how to make a gumpaste ballet shoe, please?

I've searched, but can't seem to find anything.

Many thanks.

I think this is the link to the pattern that I used:

Here's the link for the template I used. It was posted by cakebaker. Scroll down to the 5th post.

It is under - Cake Decorating... Ballet Slipper Template.

A cake I did is posted under my photos. I thought it was going to be really hard but it wasn't. I've made various different sizes also. Hope you can find it.

if you go to the cake decorating area- there is a template under Ballet Slipper Template. You can do a search- ballet slipper how to... I found the link on the second page. I've tried to attach and email but it won't go through.

I've used the template- much easier than I thought. I've also adjusted the size. You can see one of mine in my photos.

Hope you can find it.

icon_sad.gif I've just come back to say the same thing....

The link above just takes me back to the home page.

I've been in the templates gallery, but didn't see a ballet slipper at all.

I am a beginner and I need to make the ballet shoe for a cake in June. I have used the template but something doesn't seem right. Can some one please guide me on how to actually put the shoe together??
Your assistance & and recommendations would be appreciated.

hello to you all

i would like to say a big thank you to all of you for your advice and assistance.
My ballet shoe worked out perfectly after many attempts to perfect it.
My picture of the cake is posted somewhere in the gallery.
It is actually my first cake although not 100% perfect I still think I did pretty good.

Dear Reznik
you will find the template for the ballet shoe here

http://media.cakecentral.com/files/balletshoepattern_591.jpg

It is very easy to make and i personally suggest to make it only in gumpaste as it dries nice and hard.
I made the sole 1st and let it dry hard, then attached the top part.
If you need more advice from a newbie icon_biggrin.gif let me know
