I just bought Fat Daddios 4" (height) pans in 4, 6 and 10 but every single recipe except one from Colete Peters flopped. (Including one of hers other recipes). I really love these pans and could not wait to use them. I planned on torting the cakes as well but I have wasted so much money on flopped cake messes that it is making me sick. Any help would be appreciatted with temperature, recipes and baking times to make these work.
Thanks!
Suzi

Is it worth buying 4" tall pans if I want to bake a cake and torte it into 3 - 1" tall layers? Would this even work to bake all in one pan?
